So, you’ve chosen your new outdoor pod, and it’s been installed by our professional team. Now you’re ready to tap into your inner interior designer and make it your own – but how?

There are so many ways you can style the interior of your Ornate Garden Pod to turn it into your perfect outdoor oasis and ensure you can use it exactly the way you want.

Here are some of our favourite interior design ideas for our Ornate Garden Outdoor Pods to inspire you to flex your creative muscles.

1. Statement Seat Covers

One of the easiest ways to customise the interior of your outdoor pod is at the point of order when you choose the colour of your seat covers. Depending on the pod, you might have a choice of up to 17 colours, ranging from vibrant shades to muted neutrals.

When selecting your fabric, we recommend considering the overall look you want to achieve in your pod. Do you want a natural style that fits in with the surrounding garden? In which case, stone or olive green might be best. Or do you want a bold, retro look that catches the attention of your guests? If so, you might prefer our statement spicy orange or red.

2. Nordic Chic

Scandinavian style and our pods go hand-in-hand, thanks to their rustic spruce timber construction. How great does our Ornate Garden Wheel Bench look here? Adding extra wooden slats inside and a slatted backdrop enhances the Nordic feel.

To complete the Hygge look, add cosy accessories such as faux fur throws, cushions and table lanterns to create a welcoming and homely space.

3. Festive Magic

Winter is the perfect time to make your pod cosy and Christmassy! Add a statement lampshade as a focal feature and fairy lights for a magical touch. A vase full of holly (or mistletoe!) will complete the festive feel.

Lay the table with your best dinnerware, and you’ll have the perfect place for a special Christmas meal. There’s nothing quite like eating under the stars!

4. Pet Paradise

If you have furry family members using your pod, you might want to deck out the interior with their comfort in mind.

A cosy pet bed and blankets draped over the seating will provide a comfortable place for pets to relax and enjoy the 360-degree views – while protecting your seat covers!

5. Casino Royale

Want to use your outdoor pod to host a casino or games night with friends? A green table topper over the internal table in your pod can have a big impact on the overall look.

Add some poker chips, playing cards or your favourite board games to create the ultimate games night set-up, and stock the storage unit with the snacks and drinks of your choice – all you need then are the players!

6. Office Chic

To set the interior of your pod up as an outdoor office pod, you can use all the same accessories you would use when designing your home office.

The built-in power points mean you can plug in your laptop and other tech, and the Bluetooth speaker means you can listen to your favourite music as you work.

Want to inject some personality into your garden office pod? Small touches such as a table lamp, a colourful mouse mat or some potted plants can transform the interior into the cosy home office pod of your dreams!

7. Classy Diner

For a 5-star dining experience, why not set your pod table up as if you’re in your favourite restaurant?

Don’t fall into the trap of waiting for a special occasion to get out your best tableware – instead, take the opportunity to enjoy your fanciest dinner plates, cutlery and glassware in your summerhouse pod. It’s the touch of luxury you deserve!

Add a vase of fresh flowers to complete the look. You could even go one step further and rope the kids in to act as your servers for the night!

8. Neon Rave

If you’re looking to create the ultimate outdoor party pod, you’ll want to ensure the interior of your garden dome reflects this. Many of our pods come with remote-controlled LED lighting with multiple colour options, so you can set it to something bold that matches the vibe.

We recommend checking out our new Ovalhouse Bar Garden Pod by Ornate Garden for the perfect party location. It has enough space for 14 partygoers, three chic bar tables, a built-in 93L bar fridge, heater and Bluetooth sound bar, as well as ambient lighting.

Finish the look with neon accessories, grab your glow sticks, and get ready to rave!
