Tucked into the landscaped gardens of Yeoldon House, a former gentleman’s residence turned boutique hotel, our Oval House Pod offers sweeping views over the River Torridge and the tidal estuary beyond. Just outside Bideford, this tranquil spot in North Devon feels worlds away from the bustle - especially when you're nestled inside the pod, wrapped in warmth, watching the ever-changing weather roll across the water.
“It’s been a real talking point,” says manager Hannah. “Guests are always amazed when they step inside the pod for the first time. It gives them the best seat in the house - whether it’s blue skies and sunshine or wild winter storms. They can sit with a glass of wine, completely cosy, and just take in the view.”

Possibly one of the most Instagrammed venues we’ve ever worked with, The Lobster Pod in Hope Cove has evolved into a destination in its own right - a perfect blend of coastal charm and culinary indulgence. Set just metres from the water’s edge, this clifftop seafood shack is no ordinary eatery. Diners are invited to sit inside one of several bespoke pods, each designed to offer uninterrupted views of the rugged Devon coastline while shielding guests from the breeze. From our ever popular Ornate Garden Oval House Pod to the Rotating Seater Pod, perfect for smaller groups, the variety of pod options here adds both visual impact and functional appeal.

Wales has a quiet magic, and Llandeilo captures it perfectly. Overlooking the lush Tywi (Towy) Valley, this private Deluxe Garden Pod enjoys views that stretch across patchwork farmland and ancient woodland.
The area is a haven for walkers, romantics, and anyone in need of a digital detox. The owners of this magnificent property wanted to appreciate the views in all weathers – they describe the view as “like waking up inside a painting by a Welsh Turner. The area is dotted with castles, walking trails, and quaint cafés but to be honest, we never want to leave our pod and spend much of our time snuggled with a book or finding excuses to invite friends around to join us in here - this is slow living at its finest.”
