One of the unexpected joys of Pods and Pavilions is seeing where our Ornate Garden Pods eventually settle - finding homes in some of the most breath-taking corners of the UK and beyond. They become part of the landscape, the experience, the escape. Whether perched on a Lochside in the Scottish Highlands or nestled into the walled gardens of a historic Irish estate, each pod is a story, but where it ends up adds another layer of magic. Here are just a few of our favourite locations…
Caledonian Cabins, Invergarry – Overlooking Loch Garry, Scotland
Perched above the shimmering waters of Loch Garry, the Medium Summerhouse Ornate Garden Pod at Caledonian Cabins offers panoramic views that are pure Highland drama. Nestled among pines, with the hills rolling into the distance, it’s a place where nature does the talking. Whether it's sunrise mist or golden twilight, the view from the pod's window is something guests never forget.
Waking up to deer grazing outside and mist rolling across the loch was something we’ll never forget,” shared recent guest Craig Ramos-Stovin. “It’s a magnificent place, the viewing pod, situated right on the edge of Loch Gary, is one of most scenic positions. The colours and mountains that surround you are just stunning.”

Lake Geneva, Switzerland – A View Worth Travelling For
Yes, our pods travel internationally too. Overlooking the iconic Lake Geneva, this location pairs architectural elegance with alpine majesty. With snow-capped peaks in the distance and the mirror-like lake stretching below, it's hard to imagine a more peaceful or inspiring setting. This is outdoor living, Swiss-style.
This particular site, located just outside Montreux, is in a vineyard region that’s been producing wine since the Roman era. One of the owners, a third-generation winemaker, installed the Ornate Garden Wheel Bench so that his extraordinary wines could be paired with the view. Since then, it’s become a favourite spot for couples looking for something unique.
“We’ve had guests propose here,” he told us. “And one couple came back for their anniversary and brought their baby. The Wheel Bench is part of their story now.”

High Altitude, High Design – The Deluxe Pod in the French Alps
Not far from Switzerland’s western border, our Deluxe Ornate Garden Pod has taken up residence in one of the most dramatic settings imaginable - on the elevated decking of La Grande Ourse, a renowned chalet restaurant in the heart of the French Alps.
Set against the snow-draped backdrop of Mont Blanc, this pod is perched at altitude and delivers a front-row seat to one of Europe’s most iconic alpine panoramas. Guests can dine, relax, or simply soak in the view from within the pod’s warm, spacious interior - shielded from the mountain chill but completely immersed in the natural splendour outside.
Whether you're visiting for a long lunch or a twilight dinner under the stars, the
becomes part of the La Grande Ourse magic: a perfect blend of comfort, craftsmanship, and unforgettable scenery.

Dunbeg House – Loch Leven, Scotland
Positioned above Bishop’s Bay, the pod at Dunbeg House offers a front-row seat to one of Scotland's most serene Lochside settings. Dunbeg House has a rich and romantic history - originally built by a bishop as a wedding gift for his son, it stands proudly above Bishop’s Bay, a sheltered stretch of Loch Leven known for its still waters and soul-stirring scenery. The house itself carries the quiet elegance of its past, while just a short stroll from its grounds, one of our beautifully positioned Luxury Summerhouse Ornate Garden Pods sits tucked into the hillside, perfectly angled to take in the expansive views of the bay. From the pod’s window, guests can watch the light shift across the loch, with the towering peaks of Glencoe framing the horizon – an unforgettable place to switch off and simply breathe. “When we first stood on that spot overlooking Bishop’s Bay, we knew it was too special not to share,” say the owners of Dunbeg House. “The pod felt like the perfect way to let guests experience the magic of this place without disturbing the peace that makes it so special.”
Visitors describe it as “a painting you can walk into.”

A Perfect Harmony of Design and Heritage: The Rotating Seater Pod at Glenarm, Northern Ireland
Set within one of Ireland’s oldest and most picturesque villages, Glenarm, our Ornate Garden Rotating Seater Pod sits gracefully in a private garden surrounded by natural wonder. This enchanting space is nestled beside ancient stone walls, where the sound of a nearby waterfall echoes through the trees, and winding streams weave through the landscape like threads of time. The entire garden is a testament to thoughtful design that honours the land’s storied past while embracing modern touches of comfort and elegance.
Blending seamlessly into this heritage-rich environment, the pod’s curved wooden arcs and reflective stainless-steel roof, mirror the garden’s textures and light, offering a peaceful and immersive place to pause and connect with nature.
Garden Designer, Kevin Cooper immediately saw the potential:
“As soon as I saw the pod, I knew it belonged here,” he said. “It’s not just a seating area, it’s a sculptural piece that complements the flow of the garden and draws people in. With the gentle rotation, you can follow the sunlight or face the stream, and that connection to the surroundings makes all the difference.”
This installation shows how architectural innovation and natural beauty can coexist in perfect balance, bringing both function and enchantment to a garden that’s already full of magic.
